Early medieval books containing texts related to crafts and professions are investigated. A MS written at Lucca ca 800 A.D. appears to have been used for decorations in the new Cathedral. A set of Leges written at Pavia ca 1013-1028 was the personal copy used by a iudex or notary active in that city. MSS with medical texts copied in Lombardia (IXth and Xth cent.), a computus compiled in France (early IXth cent.) and a complicated dictionary drawn up in Bobbio (late IXth cent.) are also discussed.

Abstract
Early medieval books containing texts related to crafts and professions are investigated. A MS written at Lucca ca 800 A.D. appears to have been used for decorations in the new Cathedral. A set of Leges written at Pavia ca 1013-1028 was the personal copy used by a iudex or notary active in that city. MSS with medical texts copied in Lombardia (IXth and Xth cent.), a computus compiled in France (early IXth cent.) and a complicated dictionary drawn up in Bobbio (late IXth cent.) are also discussed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
