Des "phrases" aux séquences figées. La phraséologie dans les dictionnaires bilingues français-italien (1584-1900)

This book presents the results of a historical investigation about the treatment of fixed sequences in several French-Italian bilingual ancient dictionaries (16th – 19th centuries), through the analysis of the front matter and of the microstructure. The lexicographical status of idioms, which is closely related to their position in the article and to the typography, regards both the subdivision of senses and the organization of the syntagmatic part of the article. The study of phraseography appears to be a part of a more general investigation about the evolution of the microstructure in ancient French-Italian bilingual lexicography.

Questo libro presenta l’evoluzione del trattamento delle séquences figées nella lessicografia bilingue francese-italiano a partire dalle origini fino alla fine del 19° secolo, attraverso un’analisi del paratesto e della microstruttura di un corpus di dizionari. Lo status lessicografico delle séquences figées, strettamente legato alla loro posizione nell’articolo e alla gerarchia tipografica realizzata nel dizionario, riguarda sia la suddivisione delle accezioni del lemma, sia l’organizzazione della parte sintagmatica dell’articolo. Le questioni fraseografiche si iscrivono dunque in una riflessione più ampia sull’evoluzione della microstruttura dei dizionari bilingui franco-italiani.
