Italia: crisi, lavoro, non lavoro e immigrazione

Within the context of the XXIII Rapporto Immigrazione Caritas Migrantes, this essays focuses the attention on the relationship among immigration, economic crises, employment and unemployment, with a special focus on the question on rights. After describing the evolution of migrants’ occupational condition, before and after the beginning of the crises, the Author analyses the characteristic of unemployed migrants. Finally, she stresses the relationship between the migrants condition and the Italian development model, highlighting the need to develop, at societal level, a deep analysis about the meaning of work and the process of education of young generations.
