This article deals with the current situation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the worsening of the economic trends following the new round of financial and commercial sanctions imposed by the West. The growing isolation of the Country and the deepening of regional political tensions are posing dramatic questions that the regime seems unable to answer, due also to its fragmentation and power disputes.
