The aim of thie paper is to show paleographical and codicological aspects of some manuscripts produced in Milan in the second quarter of the XVth century, in order to understand if it is possible to identify some typical, specific features of these books and to evaluate how (and why, if possibile) humanistic scripts used in Milan in that period differ from littera antiqua contenporarly written, for example, in Florence.
