The chapter focuses on the idea of "Restorative Justice" and its relation with the communitarian horizon. Moving from the complex idea of "community" developed within the Western tradition, the contribution aims to highlights some aspects of the communitarian dimension underlying the experience of the Restorative Justice in order to critically understand the new ways the criminal system is structured.
