The volume presents the process that in Italy conducted to the design and implementation of a Framework for Evaluating Vocational Training Systems. The framework supports local institutions in carrying out self-evaluation of their training and education supply. The framework is also linked to the EC Recommendation concerning "quality assurance in education". A working group appointed by Isfol elaborated the framework which was tested in some italian Regions and Provinces.
