Attention is drawn to specific copies — and their distinctive features — of the rare edition of Pentecoste (Pentecost) printed by Ferrario in November 1822, as well as to the presence, within the 1822 printing of the *Inni Sacri* (Sacred Hymns), of a manuscript slip containing variants— attributed to Manzoni — of the poem *Il nome di Maria* (The Name of Mary). Also presented and discussed is a previously unknown composition (in a printed form) celebrating the marriage of Giulia Beccaria to Massimo d’Azeglio; the work is by the equally obscure Don Samuele Ghianda, whose life and oeuvre are reconstructed here to the extent possible.

Abstract
Attention is drawn to specific copies — and their distinctive features — of the rare edition of Pentecoste (Pentecost) printed by Ferrario in November 1822, as well as to the presence, within the 1822 printing of the *Inni Sacri* (Sacred Hymns), of a manuscript slip containing variants— attributed to Manzoni — of the poem *Il nome di Maria* (The Name of Mary). Also presented and discussed is a previously unknown composition (in a printed form) celebrating the marriage of Giulia Beccaria to Massimo d’Azeglio; the work is by the equally obscure Don Samuele Ghianda, whose life and oeuvre are reconstructed here to the extent possible.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
