The essay focuses on the abstract scultpures realized by Lucio Fontana between 1934 and 1935, exhibited in his exhibition at the Galleria Il Milione in Milan and often reproduced in the following years. Peculiarly, the intervention intends to show how Fontana's works have been considered at that time and to look for some of the relationships they offered, specifically with Luigi Veronesi's graphic works that were exhibited in the same gallery.
