In contemporary theatre practice, narrative dramaturgy occupies a significant place, both due to the diverse range of forms it takes and because of the popularity and longevity of the phenomenon on Italian stages. The theatre emerges as a space of resistance in what Byung-Chul Han has termed ‘a post-narrative era’, characterised by the proliferation of fragmented information and the dominance of storytelling. In this context, theatrical narration becomes an opportunity in which storytelling serves as a tool for retracing fragments of history that have shaped national identity. This is the case with certain plays in which the actress-playwright Laura Curino reconstructs events from the history of business over the last fifty years, adopting a testimonial approach that underpins the performative invention. In particular, the essay analyses the performance entitled *Malapolvere*, dedicated to the story of the Eternit factory in Casale Monferrato, in which one can observe the communicative power of narrative theatre and its adaptability from the live stage to the media context, as well as its effectiveness in reconstructing and redefining social memory.

Abstract
In particular, the essay analyses the performance entitled *Malapolvere*, dedicated to the story of the Eternit factory in Casale Monferrato, in which one can observe the communicative power of narrative theatre and its adaptability from the live stage to the media context, as well as its effectiveness in reconstructing and redefining social memory.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
