Defining Medical Intelligence from theoretical and methodological perspectives: strategic and future insights

This study illustrates and discusses the results achieved through research conducted between June and July 2025 as part of the coordination of the Medical Intelligence Group at the Catholic University of Milan. The purpose of this research, which consisted of a written interview in Italian and English aimed at professionals and experts in Medical Intelligence and intelligence more generally, is to arrive at a definition of medical intelligence that considers theoretical, methodological, strategic, and policy aspects. The perspectives and results that emerged are fundamental for defining the issues and methodologies of Medical Intelligence in relation to current and future hybrid threat scenarios.
