This article examines the Anglo-Norman adaptation of the first French version of Marbode of Rennes’ De lapidibus. Through the analysis of manuscript relationships and textual features, it highlights processes of reorganization, integration, and expansion within the text. The study shows how the adaptation reflects a context of compilation and practical recontextualization, contributing to a better understanding of the transmission and transformation of lapidary material in the Anglo-Norman milieu.
