On the first day of the Conference, whose proceedings are presented here, an exhibition of manuscripts and printed texts was inaugurated at the Biblioteca Civica Queriniana in Brescia. The exhibition focused on Renaissance women’s poetry and on the significant contribution of some learned scholars to its rediscovery in the eighteenth century. In this context, the present article briefly outlines the initiative and, in particular, presents several previously unpublished letters by Giulio Antonio Gagliardi, Bartolomeo Sabbionato and Apostolo Zeno related to Luigi Alamanni, Veronica Gambara and Gaspara Stampa.

Abstract
On the first day of the Conference, whose proceedings are presented here, an exhibition of manuscripts and printed texts was inaugurated at the Biblioteca Civica Queriniana in Brescia. The exhibition focused on Renaissance women’s poetry and on the significant contribution of some learned scholars to its rediscovery in the eighteenth century. In this context, the present article briefly outlines the initiative and, in particular, presents several previously unpublished letters by Giulio Antonio Gagliardi, Bartolomeo Sabbionato and Apostolo Zeno related to Luigi Alamanni, Veronica Gambara and Gaspara Stampa.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
