Hybrid Threats (HT) and Cognitive Warfare (CW) are distinctive features of the 21st-century security environment. They require a radical transformation of the role and practices of intelligence. By adopting a proactive and preventive approach that involves the whole of society, intelligence agencies can safeguard national interests, strengthen democratic resilience, and ensure that governments are prepared not only to respond to crises but also to anticipate and shape them.

Abstract
Hybrid Threats (HT) and Cognitive Warfare (CW) are distinctive features of the 21st-century security environment. They require a radical transformation of the role and practices of intelligence. By adopting a proactive and preventive approach that involves the whole of society, intelligence agencies can safeguard national interests, strengthen democratic resilience, and ensure that governments are prepared not only to respond to crises but also to anticipate and shape them.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
