Educational research can support effective practices only if it embraces the challenge of complexity and focuses on epistemic, methodological, and operational sustainability. To be sustainable, we must be responsive: understanding contextual constraints, validating the work of professional communities, and proposing real and applicable solutions. Research does not prescribe the future, but rather highlights the conditions for imagining and building it through shared learning processes. In an era marked by rapid change and systemic pressures, it can make a fundamental contribution to the quality of education if it takes on the task of mediating between different levels: generalization and specificity, models and situations, system governance requirements and individual needs. Sustainable educational research does not promise simple solutions to complex problems, but rather helps us formulate better questions, more consciously interpret what happens in schools, and glimpse possibilities for transformation despite constraints. In this sense, it becomes an integral part of educational professions and the policies that aim to support them.

Abstract
In this sense, it becomes an integral part of educational professions and the policies that aim to support them.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
