FamILens® is an evidence-based model for analysing the impact of policies, services, and practices on family relationships. Developed through engagement with the U.S. Family Impact Lens model and progressively adapted to the Italian context, it is built on six guiding principles that help orient public policies, personal services, and corporate welfare towards positive outcomes for families. Grounded in a substantial body of empirical research, including studies on family social capital, intergenerational relationships, generativity, and family associations, FamILens is also a registered trademark, reflecting the distinctive development and application of the model in Italy. It offers scholars, practitioners, and policymakers a valuable framework for designing and evaluating family-sensitive policies and practices. At its core lies a simple but crucial insight: every decision made in policy, services, or the market affects family life and well-being, whether intentionally or not. Recognising this impact makes interventions more effective and contributes to a stronger society.

Abstract
Recognising this impact makes interventions more effective and contributes to a stronger society.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
