Communication in today’s fashion industry becomes more and more multilingual, and this often implies the use of machine translation. Although artificial intelligence has contributed to the acceleration of the translation process, a lot of challenges need to be overcome in the post-editing phase. This study explores the quality of machine translation from French into Italian in the domain of sustainable fashion, with a focus on terminological aspects in different text types, namely institutional documents and magazine articles. Its aim is to identify and analyse the most frequent errors to propose efficient post-editing practices.

Abstract
Communication in today’s fashion industry becomes more and more multilingual, and this often implies the use of machine translation. Although artificial intelligence has contributed to the acceleration of the translation process, a lot of challenges need to be overcome in the post-editing phase. This study explores the quality of machine translation from French into Italian in the domain of sustainable fashion, with a focus on terminological aspects in different text types, namely institutional documents and magazine articles. Its aim is to identify and analyse the most frequent errors to propose efficient post-editing practices.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
