The article analyzes Italian Eurafricanism in the 1950s in comparison with the French idea of Eurafrica. Particular attention is paid to the monthly magazine "Eurafrica," in which Italian Africanists developed their own "Manifesto" in 1955. Oriented towards anti-colonialism and open to decolonization, the Italian idea of Eurafrica faded into the background during the ratification of the Treaties of Rome (1957), when the French "associationist" perspective prevailed.

Abstract
The article analyzes Italian Eurafricanism in the 1950s in comparison with the French idea of Eurafrica. Particular attention is paid to the monthly magazine "Eurafrica," in which Italian Africanists developed their own "Manifesto" in 1955.
