This chapter aims to analyse the role of educators within the Reception and Integration System (SAI) and to highlight the importance of these projects - often underestimated and, above all, largely unknown. The chapter begins with a brief explanation of the SAI system. It then presents the main professional figures working within SAI projects. Finally, it focuses on educators and the daily challenges they face in their work in reception and support. Although these professionals play an essential role, they receive little recognition. This chapter therefore seeks to increase visibility and appreciation for this type of profession. Finally, it underscores the importance of both the SAI projects themselves and the educators working within them, in order to promote effective initiatives that can serve as a foundation for building genuine reception and integration of migrants outside their country of origin.
