Having defined the perimeter of the notion of ecological transition, the essay aims to identify what the contact profiles between the latter and megaprojects might be. In particular, the research intends to investigate what role taxation could play in the implementation of sustainablemega-projects. In this perspective, the essay concludes with some reflections on the configurability of circular megaprojects whose realisation is also promoted through the use of specific fiscal measures.
