In his brief period as an avant-garde artist, Julius Evola was active in various tendencies, from Futurism to Dada, but in particular the character of his painting plays an important role in the definition of abstract art. For him, already attested to a theoretical reflection that accompanied his artistic activiy, abstraction is a philosphical-theoretical principle, within which to read his aesthetic and artistic contribution. The text constitutes one of the in-depth analyses within the catalogue of Evola's artistic work, that is the peculiar scope of the volume.

Abstract
In his brief period as an avant-garde artist, Julius Evola was active in various tendencies, from Futurism to Dada, but in particular the character of his painting plays an important role in the definition of abstract art. For him, already attested to a theoretical reflection that accompanied his artistic activiy, abstraction is a philosphical-theoretical principle, within which to read his aesthetic and artistic contribution. The text constitutes one of the in-depth analyses within the catalogue of Evola's artistic work, that is the peculiar scope of the volume.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
