Having experienced global financial crisis, rapid geopolitical transformations and a pandemic that has correctly been labelled the first global event in the history of humankind, we face challenges that require a new and deeper reflection on the nature of the economy and its purposes for integral human development, originally formulated by Paul VI as the good of every person and of the whole person . Following John Paul II, I would like to argue that integral development does not hinder, rather represents the cornerstone of a sound, well-functioning, truly sustainable and inclusive economy.

Abstract
Having experienced global financial crisis, rapid geopolitical transformations and a pandemic that has correctly been labelled the first global event in the history of humankind, we face challenges that require a new and deeper reflection on the nature of the economy and its purposes for integral human development, originally formulated by Paul VI as the good of every person and of the whole person . Following John Paul II, I would like to argue that integral development does not hinder, rather represents the cornerstone of a sound, well-functioning, truly sustainable and inclusive economy.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
