This chapter proposes a commentary on the reform of labour policies defined within the Italian NRRP, highlighting the historic opportunity that Italy has to align its policies and instruments for improving labour market function with the rest of Europe, but also the critical, partly structural, issues that will have to be addressed in order to implement this reform.
