This study addresses the annotation of Double Accusative Constructions (DACs) in Homeric Greek within the framework of Universal Dependencies (UD). By leveraging data from existing treebanks and a systematic review of typological and traditional literature, the paper proposes an updated annotation model to better represent these complex syntactic structures. The research focuses particularly on differentiating the roles and encoding strategies of objects in DACs to ensure accuracy and consistency in digital annotations. The article also provides an overview of DACs in Latin and Vedic, and shows how the new annotation proposal can be applied to these languages as well. This model aims to enhance the interpretability and interoperability of treebank data for comparative syntactic research across Indo-European languages.
