The Chapter deals with the European Pillar of Social Rights and its implementation by the Commission headed by Von der Leyen. Although formally it is only soft law, the European Pillar was able to give a twist to the EU social law, thanks to the approval of a range of very important directives (first of all, the directive on adequate wages in the EU).
Il capitolo esamina il Pilastro europeo dei diritti sociali e la sua attuazione da parte della Commissione Von der Leyen. Nonostante che si tratti formalmente soltanto di soft law, il Pilastro europeo è riuscito a imprimere una svolta al diritto sociale dell'UE, con l'approvazione di una serie di direttive importantissime (quella sui salari adeguati, in primis).
