Nota metodologica

After synthetically illustrating the transformations occurred in contemporary society regarding the relationship between young people and the religious sphere, framing it inside the transition from the concept of religiosity to that of spirituality, the contribution offers a reconstruction of the methodology of the research presented in the entire volume, that is a qualitative investigation carried out in Italy at a national level with the aim of deepening the understanding of the faith among young people who, during their biographies, have distanced themselves from the Church and in some cases also from the Christian-Catholic religion. Therefore, the contribution reconstructs the research design, the research sample, illustrates the techniques used to collect data, demonstrating their peculiar congruence with the main objectives of the investigation.

Dopo aver sinteticamente illustrato le trasformazioni verificatesi, nella società contemporanea, nel rapporto tra i giovani e la sfera religiosa, individuando come cornice teorica il passaggio dal concetto di religiosità a quello di spiritualità, il contributo offre una ricostruzione dell'impianto metodologico della ricerca restituita dall'intero volume. Si tratta di una indagine qualitativa svolta in Italia a livello nazionale con l'obiettivo di approfondire il rapporto con la fede dei giovani che, nel corso delle loro biografie, si sono allontanati dalla Chiesa e in alcuni casi anche dalla religione cristiano-cattolica. Il contributo pertanto ricostruisce il disegno e ilcampione di ricerca, illustra in maniera ragionata gli strumenti di rilevazione mostrandone la peculiare congruenza con gli obiettivi stessi dell'indagine
