Within the yearly report on the city of Milan promoted by the “Fondazione Ambrosianeum”, this essay focuses the attention on economic and occupational trends at local level. In particular, it focuses the attentions on three aspects: the process of precarisation of job contracts; the process of ethnicisation of the labour market; the relationship between the quality of the production and the qualification of workers.
