"Communities of practice are everywhere" and are "the building blocks of a social learning system because they are the social containers of the competences that constitute these systems" (Wenger, 2006). The concept can also be traced back to the field of special pedagogy, which, due to the very complexity inherent in the lives of the subjects it deals with, is a particularly interesting field in which to verify the theses advocated by Wenger himself. The community of practice at school makes it possible, for example, to valorise the experience gained by each teacher or educator, to enhance the participation and collaboration of individuals, to produce didactic innovation, and to develop empowerment to ensure the realisation of an authentic inclusive process.

Abstract
"Communities of practice are everywhere" and are "the building blocks of a social learning system because they are the social containers of the competences that constitute these systems" (Wenger, 2006). The concept can also be traced back to the field of special pedagogy, which, due to the very complexity inherent in the lives of the subjects it deals with, is a particularly interesting field in which to verify the theses advocated by Wenger himself. The community of practice at school makes it possible, for example, to valorise the experience gained by each teacher or educator, to enhance the participation and collaboration of individuals, to produce didactic innovation, and to develop empowerment to ensure the realisation of an authentic inclusive process.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
