Abstract
The subject of this volume is Hobbes' theory of light and vision. Through the study of the texts, especially those that have remained unpublished, it is shown both how they document the constant centrality of interest in optics in Hobbes' scientific research as a whole, and how the science of optics constitutes a paradigmatic model for the development of his mechanistic conception of reality.File in questo prodotto:
