The contribution deepens our knowledge of the five early Christian epigraphs from Milan that feature graffiti depictions of prayers. The best known and best defined was found in the excavation contexts of S. Eustorgio, from which another fragment with a praying figure also comes. The iconographic motif is also found in an epigraph from S. Calimero, in one from S. Ambrogio and in one found in Via Olmetto.

Abstract
The contribution deepens our knowledge of the five early Christian epigraphs from Milan that feature graffiti depictions of prayers. The best known and best defined was found in the excavation contexts of S. Eustorgio, from which another fragment with a praying figure also comes. The iconographic motif is also found in an epigraph from S. Calimero, in one from S. Ambrogio and in one found in Via Olmetto.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
