These notes refer to the course of ’Statistica’. They essentially originate from the lectures of Prof. Angelo Zanella, who has teached for several years at the School of Economics of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. They give applicative notions useful in the economic, business, management, arts and cultural management, and tourism sciences. The subjects that are dealt pertain descriptive statistics, association and dependence studies, and elements introductory to probability calculus. This e-book has a companion site (currently available only in Italian) at http://www.educatt.com/libri/materiali. The site represents a valid aid to preparation of the written exam; namely, it is linked to the material with the solution of several exam texts (of which a hard-copy version is also available). The text ’Temi e soluzioni per l’esame di statistica’ gives, at different levels of support, a link to theoretical subjects, to exercises results and to the guided and detailed solutions. More precisely, it is possible to browse the file with these notes, that has to be saved as BCslides.pdf, and the files available as 2nd to 4th links on the site http://www.educatt.com/libri/materiali by means of the following hyperlinks: • BCtestilink.pdf→ BCtestisol.pdf: vai al tema con le soluzioni from the examination text→the examination complete of compact solutions; • BCtestilink.pdf→ BCsoluzioni.pdf: vai alla soluzione dell’esercizio from the exercise text→its extended solution; • BCtestilink.pdf→ BCslides.pdf: from the exercise text → the point of this e-book that presents subjects necessary to solve the exercise; • BCslides.pdf→BCtestisol.pdf: from several exercises in this e-book → the examination complete of compact solutions.
