The book assumes reflective practice in educational field as its main object. The analysis of the scientific literature in order to describe and founded the principal concepts (reflection, reflexivity, professional identity, educational research) is completed by the presentation of an empirical study conducted in a sample of Lombardia schools aiming to collect data about reflective practices acted by teachers in their didactic action.
