Promuovere la cultura dell’accoglienza. Ripensare le politiche familiari a favore delle famiglie adottive

The family is inserted in a social context from which it draws a reason for improvement and to which it offers opportunities for growth. It is advisable to rediscover the value of the family structure as a social resource, by virtue of the peculiarities it bears and the original educational culture developed within it. What is asserted is even more true for the adoptive family, which finds itself integrating the institutional dimension into the plan of married life, in order to respond to a broader plan for the protection of children. This contribution aims, from a systemic perspective, to investigate the issues related to the inclusion of the adoptive family in the local community. On the one hand, the area of relations established with the educational services and educational institutions will be explored; on the other hand, attention will be paid to the value of social networks and the role played by the family in developing a correct image of adoption. The reflection conducted will lead to outline family educational policies for a life project open to adoption.

La famiglia è inserita in un contesto sociale dal quale trae motivo di perfezionamento e che concorre ad arricchire. Si rende opportuno riscoprire il valore della compagine familiare come risorsa sociale, in virtù delle peculiarità di cui essa è portatrice e dell’originale cultura educativa elaborata al suo interno. Quanto asserito è ancor più vero per la famiglia adottiva, che si trova ad integrare la dimensione istituzionale nel progetto di vita coniugale, per rispondere ad un più ampio disegno di protezione dei bambini e dei ragazzi. Il presente contributo mira, in prospettiva sistemica, a indagare le questioni connesse con l’inserimento della famiglia adottiva nella comunità locale. Da un lato, si esplorerà l’ambito delle relazioni instaurate con i Servizi educativi e le Istituzioni scolastiche; dall’altro lato, si porrà attenzione al valore delle reti sociali e al ruolo rivestito dalla famiglia nell’elaborazione di una corretta immagine dell’adozione. La riflessione condotta porterà a delineare politiche educative familiari per un progetto di vita aperto all’adozione.
