Le prospettive della rigenerazione urbana nel PNRR

The work reconstructs the path that led to urban regeneration establishing itself as strategic content of urban planning, the objectives that the NRRP reserves for urban regeneration interventions and the contents of the relevant bill currently before Parliament. A picture emerges in which urban regeneration appears to be closely linked to the need to ensure the environmental sustainability of urban development. In view of this, regeneration is the means for achieving these objectives, while at the same time ensuring that urban centres can adapt to evolving and changing social, economic and demographic needs

Il lavoro ricostruisce il percorso che ha portato la rigenerazione urbana ad affermarsi come contenuto strategico della pianificazione urbanistica, gli obiettivi che il PNRR riserva agli interventi di rigenerazione urbana e i contenuti del disegno di legge in materia attualmente all’esame del Parlamento. Ne emerge un quadro nel quale la rigenerazione urbana appare strettamente connessa all’esigenza di garantire la sostenibilità ambientale dello sviluppo urbano. In questa prospettiva, la rigenerazione rappresenta il mezzo per raggiungere tali obiettivi, garantendo contestualmente ai centri urbani la possibilità di adeguarsi all’evoluzione e al mutamento delle esigenze sociali, economiche e demografiche
