Favouring quality jobs is a fundamental educative objective that starts by promoting a training capable of guaranteeing adequate basic instruction and useful skills for each person so they can successfully face the challenges presented by contemporary society. In this perspective, this means laying the basis to develop human potential, guaranteeing a reduction in unemployment and drop-out rates and an increase in good, creative, supportive work, starting from the younger generations. Promoting the acquisition of skills orient- ed at increasing employment, entrepreneurial spirit, social justice, active citizenship, and sustainable development also constitutes a priority objective. Therefore, it is relevant to identify promising training environments to implement an effective youth education according to the outlined perspective. Among these potentially relevant educational and training environments, “work-related learning” and the “paths for transversal skills and guidance”, can represent successful educational opportunities to acquire, through active learning models, the tools needed to face the constant evolution of the educational processes and work- related dynamics.
Favorire lavoro di qualità è un traguardo educativo di primaria importanza che prende avvio dalla promozione di una formazione capace di garantire ad ogni persona un’istruzione di base adeguata e competenze utili affinché possa affrontare con successo le sfide che connotano la società contemporanea. Si tratta, in questa prospettiva, di porre le basi per lo sviluppo del potenziale umano, garantendo una riduzione dell'inoccupazione e degli abbandoni scolastici e un incremento di lavoro buono, creativo, solidale, a partire dalle giovani generazioni. Promuovere l’acquisizione di competenze orientate all’occupabilità, all’imprenditorialità, alla giustizia sociale, alla cittadinanza attiva, allo sviluppo sostenibile costituisce, dunque, un ulteriore obiettivo prioritario. Per tale ragione, diventa importante identificare ambiti formativi promettenti per implementare un’educazione efficace dei giovani, secondo la prospettiva delineata. Tra questi, l’"apprendimento basato sul lavoro" e i "percorsi per le competenze trasversali e per l’orientamento", possono configurare opportunità educative di successo per acquisire, attraverso modelli di apprendimento attivo, gli strumenti necessari per affrontare la costante evoluzione dei processi formativi e delle dinamiche professionali.
