This book collects almost all the KEYWORDS examined between 1998 and 2008 in the context of a Business English Course which Enrico Reggiani wrote and edited for the Italian economics newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore del Lunedì for more than twenty years (1986-2008). Between 1998 and 2008, his column Foreign Languages: English became weekly and was organized in three sections: THE complete TRANSLATION of a specialized article on socio-political-economic subjects from The Financial Times; THE SPECIALIZED LEXICON: THE DICTIONARY, a commented glossary of the most important specialized terms recurring in the article; THE SPECIALIZED LEXICON: THE KEYWORDS, where fundamental specialized words and phrases from the same article are commented from various points of view: linguistic, literary, cultural, institutional, et al.

Questo volume raccoglie la quasi totalità delle PAROLE-CHIAVE apparse originariamente tra il 1998 ed il 2008 nella cornice di un Corso di Inglese specialistico che l’autore ha curato per più di venti anni (1986-2008) sulle pagine de Il Sole 24 Ore del Lunedì. In quegli anni, la rubrica in questione diventò settimanale e venne organizzata in tre sezioni: LA TRADUZIONE integrale di un articolo specialistico su temi socio-politico-economici tratto da The Financial Times; IL LESSICO SPECIALISTICO/IL DIZIONARIO: glossario ragionato dei più significativi termini specialistici presenti nell’articolo; IL LESSICO SPECIALISTICO/LA PAROLA-CHIAVE: commento linguistico-letterario-culturale-istituzionale et al. di termini fondamentali che compaiono nel testo.
