Abstract
An ecologically integral interpretation of the person and her relationships with the world prompts pedagogical reflection to contemplate questions about finitude ofexistence, illness, suffering and death. Acquiring awareness of the fragility of life helps to understand and welcome the “other from oneself ” as the bearer of that wholeness that requires recognition, in order to plan ethically oriented care paths for the person. The paper explores the case of the emblematic project mapping Italian municipalities committed to sharing the culture of relief with action and social intervention, in the respect of law 38/2010, to guarantee support and cure to reduce unnecessary pain for terminal patients. ASA, in collaboration with Fondazione Ghirotti and A.N.C.I., will contribute to the mapping of initiatives and facilities committed to the culture of Relief also through the personalization of treatment in line with a socio-environmental approach to the person-patient.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
