The present contribution aims to fill the gap of knowledge on the relevance of the religious phenomenon in the migratory stories of families, with particular attention to how the transmission of religious values between generations takes place. It is possible to trace the main empirical evidence emerging from research, trying to bring it back to two macro themes: the relationship between family and society and the dynamics within generations. The main themes emerged and the challenges that migrant families face in the relationship with the younger generation will be re-proposed.

Abstract
The present contribution aims to fill the gap of knowledge on the relevance of the religious phenomenon in the migratory stories of families, with particular attention to how the transmission of religious values between generations takes place. It is possible to trace the main empirical evidence emerging from research, trying to bring it back to two macro themes: the relationship between family and society and the dynamics within generations. The main themes emerged and the challenges that migrant families face in the relationship with the younger generation will be re-proposed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
