The lexicon of emotions has been the subject of several recent studies from the point of view of its description and teaching/learning. Some researches in the field of French as a foreign language deal with the phraseology of emotions, which may also be an interesting research topic for contrastive phraseology. In particular, the language pair French-Italian has not been studied in detail. This paper aims at exploring how the phraseology of primary emotions is described in recent bilingual French-Italian dictionaries. This phraseographical study explores a corpus of French phraseological units expressing primary emotions (joy, fear, surprise). Some important and typical aspects of the phraseology of emotions are examined, such as somatic phraseological units, thus allowing to focus on the polysemy and on the copresence of literal meaning and figurative meaning.

Abstract
The lexicon of emotions has been the subject of several recent studies from the point of view of its description and teaching/learning. Some researches in the field of French as a foreign language deal with the phraseology of emotions, which may also be an interesting research topic for contrastive phraseology. In particular, the language pair French-Italian has not been studied in detail. This paper aims at exploring how the phraseology of primary emotions is described in recent bilingual French-Italian dictionaries. This phraseographical study explores a corpus of French phraseological units expressing primary emotions (joy, fear, surprise). Some important and typical aspects of the phraseology of emotions are examined, such as somatic phraseological units, thus allowing to focus on the polysemy and on the copresence of literal meaning and figurative meaning.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
