Si presenta il percorso di ricerca tecnico e artistico del mascheraio Malcolm Knight del Puppet and Mask Centre di Glasgow che ha dato un contributo fondamentale per la ricostruzione con tecnologia 3D di maschere teatrali adatte alla scena di oggi a partire dai modellini trovati soprattutto nella necropoli di Lipari e che in gran parte sembrano interessare personaggi della commedia nuova menandrea.
