This essay is a study on the children’s writer Giana Anguissola (1906-1966). Between the two wars she began an important contributor on “Corriere dei Piccoli” but she wished to write for adults. In an interesting correspondence to the editor Arnoldo Mondadori, Giana Anguissola talked about her literary projects and her difficulties. After the second war the writer attached importance to children’s literature and wrote well-known novel as Violetta la timida, Coda di cavallo e Priscilla.
