About the implementation of the web 2.0 concept, a new terminology relating to social networks and digital applications has gradually emerged, as demonstrated by the projects carried out within Realiter or other national bodies working in the field of language policies. This standardized terminology concerning the designation of digital tools is accompanied by spontaneous terminology, more or less in the process of being standardized, for applications and services about micro-blogging and sharing photos and videos, such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, etc. This communication aims to analyse the state of the spontaneous terminology born from Instagram in its neological dimension, concerning the new professions and the digital actions that Instagram has been able to impose. The Néoveille platform, which allows access to a vast corpus of texts from national and regional daily and weekly newspapers in France, as well as from many newspapers in the French-speaking area, will help to refine the examination of the dissemination of these lexical innovations, their impact on usage and their syntactic and semantic outlines.
