This methodological essay focuses on two issues that qualify the survey conducted by IReR in 1999 on the older population of Lombardy: the sampling of 3000 elderly and the construction of seven indices of fragility that represent the substantial part of the questionnaire submitted face to face to the elderly person or to the caregiver, in case of inability to respond to questions by the elderly.
Questo saggio metodologico è focalizzato su due aspetti che qualificano la ricerca effettuata dall'IRER nel 1999 sulla popolazione anziana della lombardia: il campionamento di 3000 anziani e la costruzione di sette indici di fragilità che costituiscono la struttura del questionario somministrato faccia a faccia all'anziano stesso o al care giver, nel caso di impossibilità a rispondere alle domande da parte dell'anziano.
