In this article two concepts of movement in “Romeo and Juliet” are analysed: that of “passage” is retained to be fundamental for the identification of three motifs of travel: the “journey” of the feud, of love and of the text; that of “traffic” is considered to be linked to three dimentions of travel and movement: the sea environment, the commercial context, and communicative and interpersonal relationships.
In questo articolo vengono analizzati due concetti di movimento in "Romeo and Juliet": quello di "passage" è ritenuto basilare per la lettura di tre motivi tematici di "viaggio": il "viaggio" della faida, dell'amore e del testo; quello di "traffic" è ritenuto legato a tre dimensioni di viaggio e movimento: l'ambiente nautico, l'ambito commerciale, e i rapporti comunicativi e interpersonali.
