Performative theater is one of the most important trends of our time. What, in brief, are its key features? It is in this area that we find works of great impact that deal thematically, not directly with Europe, but with the acquisitions whose layering and mingling has formed European culture. The works critically investigate their validity or distance or decay, raising the alarm over signals and the risks that their depreciation, degeneration or neglect may have in current growth of European consciousness. The essay analizes "Orestea" by Romeo Castellucci, "Vangelo" by Pippo Delbono, "ça ira" by Pommerat, "Les damnés" by Van Hove, "The blind Poet" by Lawers.

Abstract
Performative theater is one of the most important trends of our time. What, in brief, are its key features? It is in this area that we find works of great impact that deal thematically, not directly with Europe, but with the acquisitions whose layering and mingling has formed European culture. The works critically investigate their validity or distance or decay, raising the alarm over signals and the risks that their depreciation, degeneration or neglect may have in current growth of European consciousness. The essay analizes "Orestea" by Romeo Castellucci, "Vangelo" by Pippo Delbono, "ça ira" by Pommerat, "Les damnés" by Van Hove, "The blind Poet" by Lawers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
