This report analyses data collected through a qualitative study (interviews and focus groups) on the experiences and needs of victims of corporate violence, i.e. of crimes committed by corporations in the course of their legitimate activity which result in harm to life or health of natural persons. The study, which is part of a larger research on the implementation of Directive 2012/29/EU establishing minimum standards on the rights, support and protection of victims of crime, also took into account relevand data from interviews and focus groups with operators (lawyers, judges, prosecutors, medical doctors) who, in their professional capacity, have an experience in dealing with this kind of victims. The reasearch methodology is briefly presented, and relevant data about typologies, perception and consequences of harm are reported, as well as findings about victims' needs, victims' access to justice, victim support and compensation, victims' resilience and the most critical issues and struggles victims of corporate violence face.

Abstract
The reasearch methodology is briefly presented, and relevant data about typologies, perception and consequences of harm are reported, as well as findings about victims' needs, victims' access to justice, victim support and compensation, victims' resilience and the most critical issues and struggles victims of corporate violence face.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
