Human, who are you? Facing this anthropological question, every person is called to work on his existential self-definition. This inquiry resounded even more powerful in the early thirties, when philosopher Emmanuel Mounier conceived French Personalism, as opposed to the anti-personalistic tendencies of that time. Thus, who is the human person? To answer the presence of a "you" is foremost required, in front of which the person can claim his ‘adsum’ and find his origin. An origin that occurs in the encounter with a human body and a face - of Levinassian remembrance - in which the "I" and the "you" are intertwined in the carnal weave of existence. Indeed, the keystone for understanding the person can be found in the original nudity of the human corporeality. Facing the risk of the ever-current dualisms which oppose the spiritual person and the material individual of Maritain, or the angel and the beast of Péguy; a unitary anthropologic perspective will be outlined, with roots in Marcel's affirmation: "Je suis mon corps". In conclusion, within the condition of the human being's incarnation, a deeper sense of corporeality of the self can be found, which is the place of its own spiritual transcendence.
Uomo, chi sei?

Abstract
In conclusion, within the condition of the human being's incarnation, a deeper sense of corporeality of the self can be found, which is the place of its own spiritual transcendence.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
