Minima Metaphysica. Il divino e l'ordine dl mondo

A plurality of inquiries and methods converges on the couple of concepts “God” and “Divine”, considered in a wide temporal space, from the ancient world to the Middle Age until the contemporary era. The first subject to be highlighted is the definition of the divine, in the classical Greek philosophy, in the Imperial age and in the XX century, here in a reconsideration of the nature of a ‘provident God’ after the tragedy of the Second World War and the Holocaust. Then, the analysis is focused on the issue of finalism: this subject, connected with that of providence, is investigated under many perspectives and constitutes the barycentre of the work. In this domain the problem of the evil is set in a universal and metaphysical perspective, i.e. in the opposition between absolute and relative, human and divine, sensible and supersensible. The theoretical result of this research is the acknowledgement that the metaphysics has not only the competency on a large field of domains (protology, aetiology, ontology, ousiology, theology), but also the specific inquiry on the substance and on what depends on it. It is so possible to express in a valid way what can be assumed as ground of other in a hierarchical vision of all the existent.

Una pluralità di indagini e di metodi convergono sulla coppia di concetti “Dio” e “Divino”, considerati in un ampio spazio temporale che va dal mondo antico al Medioevo fino alla contemporaneità. Il primo tema messo in luce è la definizione del divino, nella filosofia greca classica, nell’età imperiale e nel XX secolo, qui riconsiderando la natura di ‘dio provvidente’ alla luce della tragedia umana della Seconda guerra mondiale e dell'olocausto. In seconda istanza, il discorso si rivolge alla questione del finalismo: questo tema, connesso a quello della provvidenza è investigato sotto molteplici prospettive e costituisce il baricentro dell’opera. In quest’ambito si colloca il problema del male in una prospettiva universale e metafisica, cioè nell’opposizione fra assoluto e relativo, umano e divino, sensibile e soprasensibile. Il bilancio teoretico di questa ricerca si traduce nel riconoscere alla metafisica non solo la competenza su un vasto repertorio di ambiti (protologia, eziologia, ontologia, ousiologia, teologia), ma anche lo studio specifico della sostanza e di ciò che dipende da essa al fine di esprimere in maniera fondata quanto può essere assunto come fondamento di altro secondo una visione gerarchica di tutto ciò che esiste.
