“Voice groups” are nowadays a well proved efficient form of support for children of separated parents. Borrowed from pioneering Canadian and French experiences, they have been adapted to the Italian context a few years ago and they mainly address to children aging 6 to 12 years old. The present contribution describes the experience of a “Voice group” for children of separated parents, guided with adolescents and youngsters aging more than 14 years old. Main topics, such as guidance, setting, tools and critic implications, are deeply analyzed, as well as clinical aspects more directly referring to the specific components of this group. Conclusions ponder criticality introduced by children of divorce’s adolescence: while entering their own adult life, they find themselves facing a double life transition, which is much more complex than it is normally expected to be.
