The following manuscript achieves an extensive analysis of the most important obstetric emergencies in clinical practice. It presents shortly pathophysiology but mainly focuse on the diagnosis and treatment, based on the most recent international guidelines. This approach is essential to optimize the management of critical situations that the gynecologists often have to face. We analyze in particular: ectopic pregnancy, thromboembolism (TE) during pregnancy and postpartum, preeclampsia and eclampsia, placenta previa and placenta accreta, placental abruption, the third stage of labor diseases.

Abstract

The following manuscript achieves an extensive analysis of the most important obstetric emergencies in clinical practice.
